Get the picture: Home

This is the second installment of "Get the picture", which is Lauren's fun, photo sharing idea from Outside Voice. You can read all about it here. This months theme is:

HOME
"Home
Let me come Home
Home is wherever I’m with you"
(I think this song has captured the way I feel about home)

To me, home is more than just the place I live:

Home is a feeling, that is hard to describe. I suppose it's when you feel safe and 'complete'. When you're somewhere, or with someone, that makes you feel like nothing in the world could go wrong and everything is perfect - that is home.
So because my blog is all about the photos, I suppose I should try and show you what home means to me, but really, it needs to be felt:

Love these pics! The pic of you bf in an apron is hilarious!
Now my home is in California, but when I eat Brazilian food it takes me closer to home. Does that make sense? I guess part your heart will always be in your hometown, no matter where you live! great post!

These are such beautiful, meaningful photos, and I think this post is really so sweet- I know exactly what you mean when you say that home has to be "felt." And a lot of times is about the people we're with and the things that mean a lot to us. xx

Love that we're on the same page with the "home" thing. :)

Yay for Lauren bringing us all together :) "Home" was such a great prompt and I love how you say "home is a feeling" because it's so true.
